LAST WEEK TONIGHT is the ultimate ... I mean, it's "what the great comedians were imagining whenever they thought of 'comedy news'"---kinda like the way Christians imagine Old Testament prophets were 'thinking of Jesus' when they wrote about "a son of God who will offer Himself as a sacrifice for the sin of humanity," comedians (ever since SNL's WEEKEND UPDATE) were thinking of LAST WEEK TONIGHT when they proposed that the news would make for suitable comedy!
