Very nice and fancy adult only resort! A bit too expensive for my taste and as we went “off season” (April) lots of things weren’t open or even ready to use but advertised for in their brochure! e.g. one of the restaurants wasn’t even build yet but in the hotels brochure they are already offering for you to eat there. Or the ice cream stand at the pool bar (you are supposed to be able to get ice cream there until 9.30pm!) was still locked! Just little things like that... I believe every hotel should have an “off season brochure” just so not to confuse people or disappoint their expectations! The food there was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!! By far the best food we ever had in any holiday resort!!! However, what we didn’t like so much was that you have to be dressed in certain ways (no shorts and flip flops for dinner for example) and for lunch there is no buffet so you HAVE TO sit down and wait to be served and choose food from a menu! As they are very busy there it can sometimes take a while. We didn’t have any deserts after lunch as it just took too long. We are more casual people so this felt a bit too much of a hassle for lunch. Sometimes you just want to grab something and go and all that whilst you are still wearing your bikini or swimsuit underneath a beach dress or so! Also, the same is for snack! You have to sit and order so no flexibility there either!
I know this is just us being super spoilt but even not having a late snack bar or midnights snack really made an impact! We usually wouldn’t eat at night but having a little something after a few drinks at the bar, which by the way are super fancy and yummy and good looking, or just because you fancy a little nibble in the late evening/night would be nice touch! Especially if you treat yourself already to a nice all inclusive holiday!
I can see why people love the resort and come back to it year after year! it’s very small and intimate. It’s quite “posh” and it’s located directly at one of the most beautiful beaches in Cyprus and it’s got great touristy shopping opportunities literally in front of the hotel! It’s adult only and that alone is great feature for many holiday makers and its food and drinks are more than great! However, for us it may just have been a little bit “too fancy” as we like it a bit more casual and “easy going”. The weather wasn’t great but that’s got nothing to do with the resort so it’s not effecting this review! But I can see how we might have enjoyed ourselves a little more of the weather would have been on our site!
